Cotopaxi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the North Park Wildcats 55-18. Gavin Pittington continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Park, rushing for 224 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Pittington also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up 0.5 sacks and making eight total tackles.
Cotopaxi's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for North Park, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.
