Edgemont will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Crazy Horse at 7:00 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.
Edgemont suffered a grim 18-42 defeat to Bison last Friday. Edgemont got a solid performance out of senior Ryan Simons, who rushed for 67 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. In fact, with ten tackles Simons was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-72, which was the final score in Crazy Horse's tilt against Dupree.
Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. The Edgemont defense got after the quarterback against Bison to the tune of five sacks, so Crazy Horse's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the game.
