Meanwhile, Clausen tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. At the plate, Kremlacek scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Clausen scored a run while going 1-for-1. That's the most hits Kremlacek has posted since March 1st.

In other batting news, Sophie Kercsmar was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, eight RBI, and three runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Makay Fraley was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.

Meredith Whitehurst spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and ten unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Claire DuCkworth was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigale Trask, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-2-1. As for Gilbert Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
