The Wright City Lumberjax can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They really took it to Dewar for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-25 victory at home. The victory was familiar territory for Wright City who now have seven in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wright City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Carter, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Carter has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times she's played. McKenlie Miller was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six steals.
Wright City pushed their record up to 21-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Dewar, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wright City will challenge Rattan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rattan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while Wright City is ranked 35th). Dewar's road trip will continue as they head out to face Weleetka at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Weleetka is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
