McHenry has gone 8-1 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Rockets at 4:30 p.m. McHenry is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
McHenry not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 21st (when they won 20-3). They blew past Dundee-Crown 11-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Natalie Bender was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, McHenry let Danica McCarthy and Kendal Rogers run wild. McCarthy went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Rogers went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI McCarthy has posted over her last 14 contests. Lyla Oeffling was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
McHenry was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dundee-Crown only posted a batting average of .250.
The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Central and Crystal Lake Central had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Rockets lost 9-1 to the Tigers on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Rockets couldn't push the score so high this time.
The defeat snapped Central's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-10 record. As for McHenry, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.
Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: McHenry hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345. It's a different story for Central, though, as they've only averaged .251. Will they be able to contain McHenry's hitters?
McHenry couldn't quite get it done against Central in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 6-2. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
