Fox Creek is a perfect 8-0 against Silver Bluff since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Predators will welcome the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fox Creek has three straight wins, Silver Bluff has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Fox Creek got the win against Swansea by a conclusive 13-6. Considering the Predators have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Cam Porter looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chance Weathersbee, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley Anderson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Fox Creek lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Silver Bluff came up short against North Augusta on Tuesday, falling 11-3.
Silver Bluff saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Axel Hornung, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double.
Silver Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Fox Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5.
Silver Bluff's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Fox Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .322. It's a different story for Silver Bluff, though, as they've only averaged .206. Will they be able to contain Fox Creek's hitters?
Fox Creek took their win against Silver Bluff in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 11-5 score. Will the Predators repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
