The Plano Reapers lost against the Rochelle Hubs back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Plano received a tough blow as they fell 52-33 to Rochelle. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Plano in their matchups with Rochelle: they've now lost six in a row.
Plano's loss came despite strong showings from Josie Larson and Nylah Mathews. Larson dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Mathews scored six points. That was a full 39.4% of Plano's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Plano's defeat dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Rochelle, their win bumped their record up to 13-17.
Plano does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rochelle also has no future games currently scheduled.
