Omaha North had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Fremont Tigers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last eight times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Omaha North will take on rival Benson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fremont is set to challenge their familiar foe Grand Island at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Fremont their first taste of in-conference action this season.
