The Flanagan Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Everglades at home to the tune of 76-14. Considering Flanagan has won four matchups by more than 28 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Flanagan found their leader in underclassman D?Naela Myers, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 19 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Myers has scored at least 25% of Flanagan's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Palmer, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Flanagan now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Everglades, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flanagan will square off against Pembroke Pines Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Everglades' road trip will continue as they head out to face West Broward at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. West Broward is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
