Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Garrison Bulldogs walked away with it. They breezed by the Bulldogs at home to the tune of 47-20. Garrison might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 11 games by 26 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Garrison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Javien Black, who rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Davidson, who threw for 65 yards and three touchdowns.
Garrison pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Cooper, their loss ended a 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-2.
Garrison will head out on the road to face off against Timpson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Timpson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 734 points over their last 13 matchups. Cooper does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
