Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canyon Lake). Everything went their way against the Blanco Panthers on Tuesday as Canyon Lake made off with a 57-31 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Canyon Lake has posted since November 21, 2023.

Blanco's loss came despite strong showings from Kaylee Romero and Ashton Uballe. Romero posted 16 points in addition to seven steals and five boards, while Uballe dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Romero is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played.

Canyon Lake moved to 6-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Blanco, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Canyon Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-41 victory against Marion on the 10th. As for Blanco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-36 defeat against Nixon-Smiley on the 5th.
