Anais Perez was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Perez was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

Kennedy's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's game. The Cougars have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Verdugo Hills, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Kennedy continue to outrun the ball?
Everything went Kennedy's way against Verdugo Hills in their previous meeting back in April, as Kennedy made off with an 11-3 victory. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Dons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
