While Bainbridge-Guilford put up some  runs on Friday, the same  can't be said for Oxford Academy. The Bobcats were the clear victors by  a  10-0 margin over the Blackhawks. The Bobcats'  victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet  this season.

 Timmy Kinter made a big impact no matter where he played. He  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out nine over 4.2 innings pitched. Those  nine  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Connor Davy was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  stolen bases and three  runs. Davy is  crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   snagged at least one every time he's  taken the field this season.  Aidan Haynes also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Bainbridge-Guilford  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .531. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Bainbridge-Guilford pushed their record up to 4-0 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Oxford Academy,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bainbridge-Guilford will head out to  square off against Greene  at 1:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Oxford Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Milford Central at 4:30  p.m.  on May 1.
