The Friendly Patriots lost against the Potomac Wolverines back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Friendly took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Potomac. Friendly has struggled against Potomac recently, as their contest on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Maddox Graham and Bryce Harvey certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Graham scored seven points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Harvey scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Roach, who scored six points.
Friendly now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Potomac, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Friendly will face off against Surrattsville at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Surrattsville is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Potomac, they will head out on the road to challenge Crossland at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Crossland comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
