Conneaut managed to slip by Edgewood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Spartans took a  blow against the Warriors on Friday, falling  49-14. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Edgewood was led to victory by  JJ Dufour and  Jaiven Pope.  Dufour threw for 172 yards and three  touchdowns, while  Pope rushed for 107 yards and a pair of  TDs. What's more,  Dufour racked up 73  rushing yards, the most he's  had since back in August.  Devon Sanchez also deserves a mention for his  punt return touchdown.
Conneaut's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Edgewood,  with the  victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.
