The Bloomington Bruins will be playing in front of their home fans against the San Bernardino Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Bloomington unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 27-14 to San Gorgonio.
Bloomington's loss came about despite a quality game from Diego Fraembs, who rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Fraembs was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 64 yards.
Meanwhile, San Bernardino put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 39-12 victory over Pacific. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point San Bernardino had established a 20 point advantage.
Bloomington's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for San Bernardino, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Bloomington was taken down by San Bernardino 45-3 in their previous matchup back in September of 2015. Thankfully for Bloomington, Alexander Mattison (who rushed for 247 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 45 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time.
