Buckingham Browne & Nichols and Noble & Greenough are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Knights will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

KENNETH TSAY made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on DECLAN WILKES, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was CORTEZ HEYWORTH, who went 1-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Noble & Greenough and Tabor Academy, and Noble & Greenough kept the tradition alive. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Seawolves 8-7 on Saturday.
Mac Bianchi was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Keegan Crowe was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
The win got Buckingham Browne & Nichols back to even at 7-7-1. As for Noble & Greenough, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
Buckingham Browne & Nichols' speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's matchup. The Knights have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Noble & Greenough, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Buckingham Browne & Nichols continue to outrun the ball?
Buckingham Browne & Nichols came up short against Noble & Greenough when the teams last played back in May of 2024, falling 7-3. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
