After soaring high against Horton last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Troy had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the team lost 19-20 to Christ Prep Academy. Troy's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
The loss dropped Troy's record to 3-1. The win bumped Christ Prep Academy's record up to 4-1.
Next week Troy take on Centralia . As for Christ Prep Academy, they will face off against Jefferson County North. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games.
