Softball Recap: Rayville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rayville barely beat Block the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 13-2 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Rayville, bringing their record up to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Block, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Rayville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 24-8 loss against Vidalia on the 2nd. As for Block, they have also already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Georgetown on the 2nd.
