Brady Sheridan and Carson Davis provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Turkey Run. The longest such play in Wabash River this season, the connection resulted in 61 yards.
North Vermillion extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Seeger, 49-14. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Falcons.
Sheridan and Lance Whorrall gave Attica a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Sheridan threw for 163 yards and two touchdowns, while Whorrall ran for 116 yards. Davis also contributed to the rushing game with 68 yards on the ground.
Kiontre Wilke provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Rockville fell to Fountain Central. He completed five passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 99 yards. Wilke's favorite target this week was Ryan Lewis, who caught three passes for 76 yards.
Attica's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Ramblers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sheridan has thrown for 640 yards and six touchdowns this season, while J.R. Dunwell has 11 catches for 198 yards. Davis leads the league in rushing with 656 yards.
A big matchup in Wabash River this week will be when the Red Ramblers take on the Rox. Attica is currently in third, while Rockville is in fifth.
There should be lots of points scored when Ryan Good's team and Herb King's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Red Ramblers comes in having scored 313 this season, while the Rox have scored 190. Attica scored 55 points last week as it bested the Warriors.
The Mustangs led the league in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on Rockville.
