After a string of four wins, the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Lynwood by a score of 91-88. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Mater Academy East Las Vegas came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 15th in Nevada, while Lynwood is ranked 67th in California).
It was another big night for Jason Crowe Jr , who scored 50 points along with five assists and three steals for Lynwood. The matchup was Crowe Jr 's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chace Holley , who scored 21 points.
