The St. Andrew's Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 46-30 fall against Bulloch Academy. While losing is never fun, St. Andrew's can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while Bulloch Academy is ranked 158th).
St. Andrew's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Addison Yates, who scored nine points.
St. Andrew's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-12. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.3 points per game. As for Bulloch Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Andrew's will square off against Pinewood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bulloch Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Frederica Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
