The Riverside Ram's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Potomac Falls at home by a decisive 35-21 margin. Riverside was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Potomac Falls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
When it comes to explaining why Riverside lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ed Abbott. Despite the final result, he rushed for 110 yards.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Potomac Falls, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will face off against Lightridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Potomac Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Independence is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
