The Culver Community Cavaliers will head out to take on the Hebron Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Culver Community is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8 runs per game this season.
Culver Community came out on top against Triton on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fifth inning. The Cavaliers were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Trojans. The Cavaliers have beaten the Trojans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Aiden Molebash was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Abigayle Zehner was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Gracie Milam was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Culver Community always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Triton only posted an OBP of .167.
Meanwhile, Hebron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against La Porte, falling 18-4.
Savanna Anderson and Hadley Donovan stepped up to the plate in a big way. Anderson went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Donovan went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Hebron's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Culver Community, their record now sits at 11-2.
Hebron's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Culver Community has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.4 strikeouts per game.
