The Casa Roble Rams's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Sunrise Mountain Miners at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Casa Roble has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 812 points over their last 11 matchups.
Casa Roble pushed their score all the way to 67 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 80-67 to Kennedy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (66), Casa Roble still had to take the loss.
Casa Roble's defeat came about despite a quality game from Benny Ambriz, who scored 22 points along with three steals. Ambriz scored a full 32.8% of Casa Roble's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Anthony Maher was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Even though they lost, Casa Roble were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kennedy only racked up 17 assists.
Meanwhile, Sunrise Mountain earned a 50-42 win over Basic on Wednesday. Sunrise Mountain's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Casa Roble's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Sunrise Mountain, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
