Cornerstone Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions 9-3. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.
Gage Donaldson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Bolton Lawton, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Mt. Pleasant Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Evangel Christian at 6:00 p.m. on April 1st.
