The Bound Brook Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Hunterdon Central Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Bound Brook's 20-5 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were beaten by Watchung Hills Regional 60-32 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Hunterdon Central pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 68-56 to Phillipsburg.
Bound Brook now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Hunterdon Central, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-2.
Bound Brook didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hunterdon Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, but they still walked away with a 74-68 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bound Brook since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
