Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Minneapolis

Minneapolis hadn't done well against Concordia recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Minneapolis easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18.

Baylee Randall-Hurt paced Minneapolis' offense, picking up 12 kills. Randall-Hurt got some help from Addison Abell and her 16 assists. Riley Robinson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Minneapolis' victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Concordia, they dropped their record down to 15-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Minneapolis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Haven on the 11th. As for Concordia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Rossville on the 11th.
