After flying high against the Marcellus Mustangs last Friday, The Bishop Ludden/Syracuse Academy of Science came back down to earth. Bishop Ludden/Syracuse Academy of Science received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 50-35 to Adirondack. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (33), Bishop Ludden/Syracuse Academy of Science still had to take the loss.
John Hennessey was a one-man wrecking crew for Adirondack as he rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 71 yards and two touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. Hennessey is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. Adirondack also got a significant boost from Isaac Croneiser, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 97 yards.
Bishop Ludden/Syracuse Academy of Science now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Adirondack, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Bishop Ludden/Syracuse Academy of Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Adirondack will head out on the road to face off against Cazenovia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cazenovia is on a three-game streak of home wins, Adirondack a seven-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
