The Emmanuel Christian Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight defeat. They took a 61-42 bruising from Altha. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Emmanuel Christian of the 61-48 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Robinson, who scored 12 points. Tristan Culp was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Emmanuel Christian's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Altha, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emmanuel Christian will face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kinston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Altha, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Wakulla is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 64.9 points per game this season.
