The Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Greene Central Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Wallace-Rose Hill's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Greene Central has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Wallace-Rose Hill can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past James Kenan 36-15. The score was all tied up 8-8 at the break, but Wallace-Rose Hill was the (much) better team in the second half.
Corbin Kerr had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Kerr is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last ten games he's played. Irving Brown was another key contributor, rushing for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Greene Central had to suffer through a rough 47-8 loss at the hands of Farmville Central.
Wallace-Rose Hill's win bumped their season record to 7-3 while Greene Central's defeat dropped theirs to 4-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's game: Wallace-Rose Hill has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 398.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Greene Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 182.3 per game. It's looking like Friday's contest might have some serious battles in the trenches.
