After flying high against the James Clemens Jets last Friday, the Sparkman Senators came back down to earth. Sparkman took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jackson on Friday.
Jackson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Taliah Cornish out in front who scored 18 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shakira Gresham, who scored 10 points.
Sparkman's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Jackson, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Sparkman will face off against Greenforest at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jackson won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Newton at 5:30 p.m. on November 25th.
