Colton is 0-10 against Garfield-Palouse since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Colton Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Garfield-Palouse Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Colton has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 16.
After soaring to 56 points the game before, Colton were a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They were outmatched by Pomeroy at home and fell 67-17. Colton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-6.
Meanwhile, Garfield-Palouse was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 46-42 to Oakesdale.
Colton's loss was their eighth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-18. As for Garfield-Palouse, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.
Colton took a serious blow against Garfield-Palouse when the teams last played on January 6th, falling 63-30. Can Colton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
