Kingman/Cunningham had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 23-49 punch to the gut against Anthony-Harper-Chaparral last Friday.
Belle Plaine also just played their first game, also were on the road, and also didn't get the result they wanted. They had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the squad lost 36-37 to Inman.
