The Sebastian River Sharks won the last time they faced the West Shore Wildcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Sebastian River blew past the Wildcats 60-25 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Sebastian River has managed all season.
It was another big night for Andrew Simpson, who scored 21 points along with five steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keenan Matthews, who scored ten points along with five steals and two blocks.
Sebastian River's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11. As for West Shore, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
Sebastian River won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. Tradition Prep is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50 points per game this season. As for West Shore, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Vipers at 7:00 p.m. Space Coast is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
