North Hollywood won the last time they faced Verdugo Hills and GAVEN ZAMORA did his part to make sure it happened again. The Huskies blew past the Dons 38-16 on Friday with plenty of help from ZAMORA, who rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 105 rushing yards per game.

Verdugo Hills' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jered Smith, who threw for 282 yards and a pair of TDs. Aiden Mejia helped Smith out on the ground, picking up 66 receiving yards and one score.

The win made it two in a row for North Hollywood and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 16 points in those games. As for Verdugo Hills, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-4.
