Jaxson Eschberger made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, Will Cloud and Gunner Ferguson did most of the damage at the plate: Cloud went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles, while Ferguson got on base in five of his six plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
