Galesburg got a massive performance out of Hannah Barton, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Barton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ariel Martinez, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Abingdon/Avon lost 17-5 to Mercer County on Tuesday. The Tornadoes haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
