After soaring to 62 points the game before, the Horizon Hawks were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by East River on the road and fell 67-18. Horizon lost against East River in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 54-14 score last time.
Adonys Christo was Horizon's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Reese Mcalpin held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for East River, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horizon will take on Forest Lake Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East River, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Dr. Phillips at 7:30 p.m.
