 In other batting news, Green County got a  massive  performance out of  Andrew Houk, who  scored four  runs while going 4-for-5. Those  four  runs gave  Houk a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Drew Squires, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.

 Coming up, Green County will square off against Washington County at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Washington County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight  runs per game on average), something Green County will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Caverna, they will venture away from home to  challenge Butler County  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
