The Ironwood Eagles made easy work of the North Mustangs on Monday and carried off a 14-1 win.
Alyssa Ridgley made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
In other batting news, Addison Monahan was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and one stolen base. That stolen base was her first of the season. Madelaine Gober was another key player, scoring four runs while going 4-for-5.
