When it comes to explaining why Bridges Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zariyah Henry. Despite the final result, she scored eight points along with 17 rebounds and three steals. Henry has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Makayla Lapp, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Bridges Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bethune-Bowman, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
