Altamonte Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marcus Goss Jr., who scored 18 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goss Jr. has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Almeda, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Altamonte Christian has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Winthrop College Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.
Altamonte Christian and Orangewood Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Orangewood Christian is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
