The game between the Beckman Trailblazers and the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers on Tuesday was not a total blowout, but with the Beckman Trailblazers falling 55-39 at home, it was darn close to turning into one. That's the fewest points Beckman has scored all year.
This is the second loss in a row for the Trailblazers and nudges their record down to 16-6. The win bumped Center Point-Urbana's record up to 15-5.
Beckman will be hunkering down at home again for their contest against Independence on Friday. Beckman's scoring has been on the decline the past three games, which is obviously a trend Independence hopes will continue. Center Point-Urbana is staying on the road on Friday to face off against Mt. Vernon. Center Point-Urbana isn't favored, but they just beat the odds this past matchup, so don't count them out.
