It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-43, which was the final score in Christian Home Educators' tilt against East Texas Homeschool Sports on Tuesday. Christian Home Educators was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-19.
Despite their defeat, Christian Home Educators saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Caleb Oglesby, who scored 11 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Koster, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Johnson County Sports Association was just a bucket shy of victory last Friday and fell 43-42 to Stephenville FAITH.
Like Johnson County Sports Association, they lost despite seeing results from several players. Gage Bradley led the charge by almost dropping a triple-double on 15 points, 13 rebounds, and nine blocks. Bradley has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Green, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Christian Home Educators' loss dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Johnson County Sports Association, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.
