The biggest upset of the week belonged to Poynette, who took down 124th ranked Lakeside Lutheran, 28-21.
Lodi extended the longest winning streak in Capitol - North this week by beating Lake Mills, 56-6. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
The L-Cats' Collin Moen and Brandon Rue have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Moen has thrown for 738 yards this season, while Rue, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 12 catches for 291 yards. Garrett Bollant from Lodi leads the league in rushing with 343 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Lake Mills takes on Columbus. Dan Ferkovich's team's offense has racked up 104 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Cardinals have allowed only 46 on the year.
A big matchup in Capitol - North this week will be when Dave Puls' team takes on the Pumas. The Blue Devils are in first place, while Poynette is in fourth place.
Todd Anderson's team moved up to 224 from 278 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Pumas were able to move up by defeating the Warriors 28-21.
