Saks' four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They breezed by Wellborn on the road to the tune of 73-43. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Saks has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Donoho was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 72-67 to Wadley.
Saks' win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Donoho, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Saks was able to grind out a solid win over Donoho when the teams last played back in January of 2021, winning 62-54. Does Saks have another victory up their sleeve, or will Donoho turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
