Emalyn Funck was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Funck was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
