El Dorado extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 3-4. They had to suffer through  a    50-7 loss at the hands of the Crean Lutheran Saints. While losing is never fun, the Golden Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Saints are ranked 42nd).
 Hudson Shaddow threw for 111 yards and one  touchdown.   Justin Karg was his top target, picking up 70 receiving yards and one  TD.  On the ground,  Brendle Bier rushed for 37 yards.
As for Crean Lutheran, their win was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-0. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Caden Jones produced another solid  effort throwing for 211 yards and five  TDs. Those  five  passing touchdowns gave  him a new career-high.  Dillon Booth did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 48 receiving yards.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. El Dorado is set to  take on  their familiar foe Laguna Hills  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Crean Lutheran will  square off against  rival La Habra  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. That  game will pit two of the most dominant  signal callers against one another:  Jones and  DJ Mitchell.
