After flying high against Pitman last Thursday, Turlock came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 8-4 to the Gregori Jaguars on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Audrey Bailey was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Rylee Murphy was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.
Turlock's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Gregori, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

As for Gregori, they will head out to square off against Enochs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
